Juventus are now reportedly ready to keep Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur-linked Merih Demiral after the Turkish defender started the Italian champions’ last three games – and Gunners fans have reacted that Daniele Rugani is now set to leave.
Italian outlet CalcioMercato have claimed Demiral has changed Juventus’ minds over the last three matches after starring in the Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen – before starting and impressing in the last two Serie A side matches.
With Turkey international Demiral now considered fourth-choice centre-back behind Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Matthijs de Ligt, Italy international Rugani is surplus to requirements – especially as he has played just three times.
The Sun have claimed Arsenal have been monitoring the 25-year-old defender ever since the summer and with Juventus now keen to offload Rugani, surely the Gunners have to consider bringing in the Juve ace to solve their defensive woes.
The Times claimed in the summer that Wolves had made a £30million offer for Rugani but a move seemingly failed to materialise between Juve and the Midlands club. It remains to be seen how much Juve want for Rugani.
Arsenal fans have reacted to the reported news that Rugani is set to leave the club in the January transfer window afer becoming surplus to requirements and many Gunners fans want the Italian ace signed.
We should gamble on Rugani in january if available #AFC

Eh, no. Rugani is a good ball playing centre-back who reads the game very well, but he doesn't like the physical side of the game and isn't the quickest. Arsenal can do better, IMO. #Arsenal #COYG #AFC #Rugani https://t.co/KTZBL2fu9j
