Arsenal fans react as report claims Gunners are looking at Fabio Vieira

Arsenal fans have been reacting to a claim from Portugal that the club could make a move for FC Porto starlet Fabio Vieira.

Record have reported that the Gunners are weighing up a £27 million move for the 20-year-old, who is also supposedly being tracked by Marseille.

Vieira has not been on the scene long, making his first-team debut for the club back in June.

But he’s made a big impression, racking up 20 appearances since then.

He’s also made his mark with the Portugal U21s, scoring five goals in seven games.

Over in north London, times are currently hard for Arsenal, who are struggling to create chances and score goals.

Mikle Arteta’s side are languishing in 15th place in the Premier League table and the pressure is mounting on the Spaniard, although it seems the board are backing him for now.

A turnaround is needed quickly, and it remains to be seen if Arsenal do any business next month.

The likes of Houssem Aouar and Dominik Szoboszlai have been linked with moves to the Emirates Stadium in recent weeks.

But Vieira, who has featured in four Champions League games in 2020/21, is also now said to be interesting Arsenal.
