Arsenal supporters are excited following recent comments from Patrick Vieira on Daniel Ek’s next steps on a club takeover.

Speaking on the ITV Football podcast, the former Gunners captain revealed that Ek has not given up with buying the club. The Swedish billionaire has already had one takeover bid rejected from Stan Kroenke as reported by the Guardian.

The American businessman is under increasing pressure to sell the club from fans and pundits. Vieira, alongside Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp, are supporting Ek in his attempt to buy Arsenal off Kroenke.

Although Ek had an initial offer rejected, Arsenal supporters on social media are buzzing that the Spotify founder has not been dismayed by this first pitfall.
