Arsenal have announced that youngster Omari Hutchinson has penned a first professional contract with the Gunners – and supporters have been reacting on Twitter.
The 17-year-old has been with the North London-based outfit since the age of 11 and typically plays as a winger or in the No.10 role.
Hutchinson has been a regular for the under-18 outfit this season. He has claimed five assists in seven league outings and has looked sharp when called upon.
Mikel Arteta has already been alerted to the youngster’s qualities. He was included on the club’s Europa League B list as one of three permitted academy players.
Arsenal have a proud history of their youngsters making the step up to play at first-team level and Hutchinson will hope the pathway is clear.
Supporters are certainly pleased to see another top talent tied to a new deal and many have taken to Twitter to express their delight.
It’ll be interesting to see if Hutchinson gets a chance to shine this season. If Arsenal can secure qualification in the Europa League with a game or two spare, there’s every possible chance.
Here is what Arsenal fans are saying about Hutchinson after he penned a professional contract.
