Newcastle are reportedly closing in on Unai Emery with reports suggesting he could join this week – and Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter.

Emery, 49, was criticised during his Arsenal spell – despite winning 43 of his 78 games in charge. But since leaving, many realise he was pretty good.

Arsenal were in a transition period and their form under Mikel Arteta over the last 12 months shows that actually, Emery produced decent results.

Now, Emery is shining in his home country with Villarreal. He guided the Yellow Submarine to the Europa League title last term, beating Man United.
