Arsenal are keen on a deal for Sevilla talent Bryan Gil, according to Mundo Deportivo – and supporters have been reacting on Twitter.

The Gunners will try and shape their squad once again in the summer, with Edu and Mikel Arteta set to work tirelessly.

Arsenal enjoyed some success in the transfer market during the summer but more reinforcements will be necessary.

The report claims that Gil has a release clause of around £30 million, with Sevilla hoping to hand him a two-year extension and increase it to over £150 million.

Gil is highly-rated and one of Barcelona’s top scouts, Vaya Ballabriga, told Sport all about the quality he possesses recently.

He told Sport: “Right now he’s the best player in Spain. He’s so versatile, he can play at full-back, through the middle, on the left-wing. He’s impressive.”

Gil has played 16 times for Eibar during a loan spell this season, scoring three goals and registering three assists.

He has typically operated on the right flank but is a versatile performer and that could suit Arsenal down to the ground.
