Arsenal fans have been reacting to a post made on social media by Matteo Guendouzi that suggests the player is thinking about next season with the Gunners.
The French midfielder has not been seen in Arsenal colours since his incident at the final whistle against Brighton back in June.
Manager Mikel Arteta reportedly took a dim view of the 20-year-old’s scuffle with Neal Maupay, and the former FC Lorient star finished 2019/20 without making another appearance.

His future has very much been up in the air since, with various reports claiming he had been offered to the likes of Atletico Madrid and Lyon in exchange for Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar.
The £40,000-a-week star (Spotrac) has also been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, who apparently rejected the chance to sign him.
With Partey and Aouar seemingly the remaining goals for Arsenal this window, many have been urging the club to sell Guendouzi in order to raise funds for one of those players.
But it seems as though the player himself is not thinking about leaving the club if his latest social media post is anything to go by.
After captaining the France U21s against Azerbaijan, he wrote: “2 games, 6 points! Proud of my team @equipedefrance. Now let’s go back to work @Arsenal.”
Quite a few Arsenal fans appear to now be giving Guendouzi the benefit of the doubt, with several hopeful the player can reclaim his focus and get back to his best:
