Arsenal fans react as Mady Camara impresses against Wolves

Olympiakos were knocked out of the Europa League by Wolverhampton Wanderers on Thursday night as the Midlands side held onto a 1-0 win at Molineux – but Arsenal fans were impressed with Mady Camara.

Following a 1-1 draw from the first leg, Wolves came into the match with the knowledge that they had to win, or prevent Olympiakos from scoring an away goal. They did both – winning 1-0 on the night.

Raul Jimenez scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the eighth minute and thanks to a number of stunning saves from Rui Patricio, Wolves held on to a narrow lead over the Greek giants.

Olympiakos had reached the last 16 after beating Arsenal over two legs in the previous round. Camara, 23, starred in both matches as they produced a somewhat surprise result against the Gunners.

Acccording to a report in SDNA, Arsenal are interested in Camara and are believed to be considering a £25million move for the Guinea international – though Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey obviously remains first choice.

Arsenal supporters watched on as Camara impressed against Wolves, but failed to help his Olympiakos side surpass Nuno Espirito’s men. Many were impressed, with one fan claiming he would be a good “substitute” for Partey.
