Football London understands that Leicester City star James Maddison is a potential target for Arsenal during the transfer window.
The Foxes star endured a frustrating season during 2020/21; starting 24 of Leicester’s 38 Premier League games.
He did enjoy a decent campaign in the way of goal contributions though. Maddison scored 11 times and registered 10 assists in all competitions as Leicester qualified for Europe.
Leicester signed Maddison from Norwich. He cost £20 million during the summer of 2018 and has proved a quality addition.

The exciting No.10 has scored 27 goals and registered 20 assists during 118 appearances for the Foxes.
It will be his potential to thrive in the future that has alerted Arsenal though. Although given his £60 million valuation, it’ll be a tough deal to do.
The Gunners are in need of new players and creative options will definitely be required.
Arsenal are already eyeing up plenty of departures and that should allow Mikel Arteta plenty of room to manoeuvre.
Maddison earns £110,000-a-week at the King Power Stadium and could prove a decent signing to the Arsenal ranks.
He would need no introduction to Premier League football and the settling in process should be seamless.
Martin Odegaard has returned to Real Madrid and at this stage, there is very little chance of him returning.
Arsenal fans seem keen on Maddison
Following yesterday’s reports, Gunners supporters have been reacting on Twitter to the links.
It seems as though Maddison would be a popular addition to the Arsenal ranks, with fans keen to see him arrive.

Odegaard would have been good but Leicester’s magician knows the league better and is a tried and tested option.
Arsenal aren’t in Europe next season and landing Maddison would represent a ridiculous coup in that sense.
The Gunners faithful are a passionate bunch but they seem unanimous that Maddison would prove a good addition to their squad.
Here is what they had to say on Twitter as the latest link emerges.
