Arsenal fans have expressed their joy over social media, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan officially completing a loan move to AS Roma on transfer deadline day.
The 30-year-old featured in Sunday’s North London Derby as a substitute for the Gunners, but just 24 hours later he has now departed the Emirates Stadium.

The winger has struggled to make the desired impact for the Gunners since joining the club in January 2018 as part of a swap deal that saw Alexis Sanchez join Manchester United.
Mkhitaryan leaves the club on a temporary basis, with Roma having an option to buy next summer, according to The Guardian.
Mkhitaryan scored just nine goals in 59 appearances for Arsenal, and will be hoping to recapture the kind of form he showed as a Borussia Dortmund player a few years ago.

football.london report that Unai Emery intends to hand more minutes to Gabriel Martinelli following Mkhitaryan’s exit.
Arsenal fans react
It just hasn’t clicked for him in north London and the move has gone down very well with the majority of Arsenal fans, who have really struggled to warm to Mkhitaryan since his arrival:
