Arsenal fans react as Franck Kessie is linked with Emirates Stadium move

Arsenal are weighing up whether or not to make a move for AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie, according to Calciomercato.

Kessie has scored four goals and registered three assists during his 17 games in all competitions this season.

The 23-year-old has showcased his versatility to play as a holding midfielder or a more natural central midfield role.

He is clearly thriving right now and Milan are thought to value their player at around £40 million.

Kessie’s current deal expires in 2020 and the Serie A outfit are keen to get him tied down to an extension.

The Ivory Coast international has helped Milan to the top of the league and Stefano Poli won’t want to lose an integral player.

Arsenal are still keen to bolster their squad despite a busy summer in which Gabriel and Thomas Partey proved big signings.

Mikel Arteta’s team are languishing in 15th place in the Premier League and are desperate for a lift.

With that in mind, more players might be targetted in the summer and the Gunners still have Kessie on their radar.
