Arsenal fans react as former defender Lauren suggests re-signing Alexis Sanchez

Former Arsenal defender Lauren has said that the Gunners should be willing to take Alexis Sanchez back from Manchester United, according to American Gambler.

It’s a strange call from the Invincible defender because of the way that the Chilean international left the club back in January 2018.

He said: “”Sanchez is a top player and top players are always welcome at Arsenal. If Unai Emery could get him back mentally because it has been a while without him playing, then he could be a good addition.

“It depends if he is the kind of player that Unai would enjoy having at Arsenal.”

But Gunners fans on Twitter were not impressed with the assertion from the former defender – they still haven’t forgiven him for the nature of his departure.

And his form has fallen off a cliff since he joined United – with the trademark energy that characterised his prime absolutely gone.
