Arsenal fans react as Folarin Balogun reportedly agrees new deal

Arsenal starlet Folarin Balogun is set to end months of speculation and sign a new long-term contract with the club.

Following the news which broke this afternoon courtesy of the Daily Mail, supporters have been reacting on Twitter.

The 19-year-old has been in fine form for the under-23 ranks and earned recognition with the first-team during 2020/21.

He scored two goals in the Europa League despite playing just 61 minutes of action.

Balogun has scored eight times in 16 outings for the under-23s this season and also registered two assists.

By putting pen-to-paper he will end months of talk regarding his future, with clubs in the Premier League and abroad vying for his signature.

It will now remain to be seen whether Arsenal choose to use him next season or send him on loan to another club.
