Arsenal fans react as Fabrizio Romano discusses future of Bukayo Saka
Fabrizio Romano claims numerous clubs are beginning to approach Arsenal over midfielder Bukayo Saka – and Gunners fans are becoming concerned.
Saka, 20, is quickly becoming a fan favourite at Arsenal – already, the England international is just eight appearances away from a century.
Operating at left-back, on the wing or even sometimes in the 10 role – Saka’s potential is boundless. He is one of the Premier League’s best young stars.
If Arsenal are to have a successful season in 2021-22, Saka needs to play well. Already at his young age, he is probably their most-influential player.
Speaking about Saka and his future, Romano stated that clubs are beginning to approach Arsenal – but that the Gunners are keen to keep him.
“Clubs are starting to approach Saka. Arsenal consider him untouchable. They are planning to build on players like Saka ,” Romano told his podcast.
What are Arsenal fans saying about Saka, amid Romano claim?
Saka has three years remaining on his contract and while it is not a concern right now, he could easily refuse to sign a new deal.
If it gets until next summer without penning a new deal, Arsenal might have to start thinking about life without the Hale End academy product.
But Arsenal are under no pressure to sell right now and they are right to make the stance Romano claims they are forefronting.
However, Arsenal are no longer the powerhouse in European football they were. If a Champions League club come calling, it will remain to be seen.
Arsenal fans have reacted to the report from Romano – and some are willing to let Saka go, if the price is right. One fan wants £70million.
