Arsenal fans react as Eduardo Camavinga is linked with summer transfer

Arsenal are one of the clubs being linked with a summer move for Rennes wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga, according to Le10 Sport.

The teenager has experienced an indifferent season with the Ligue 1 outfit, scoring once and claiming three assists. Despite that, he is still viewed by many as one of the top talents in world football.

Camavinga has a contract with Rennes until June 2022. As a result, this summer could be the last chance for the French outfit to get a sizeable sum for his services.

It’s unlikely that the Ligue 1 club will accept anything less than £43 million even though he has just 14 months left on his current contract.

Arsenal might not have European football to entice new signings next season and it does look like an ambitious move by the Gunners.

The report also claims that Camavinga has placed his interests in the hands of English agent Jonathan Barnett – highlighting a possible desire to head to the Premier League.

Following the latest reports from France, Arsenal fans have been discussing the possibility of Camaving rocking up in North London.

It’s fair to say that although he’d be welcome, plenty of fans aren’t convinced that he would be willing to sign for the club this summer.
