Arsenal fans react as Dominik Szoboszlai signs for RB Leipzig

Arsenal fans have been reacting to the news that Dominik Szoboszlai will become an RB Leipzig player.

The Hungarian star completed his €25 million/£22.5 million move (Goal) to the Bundesliga outfit today which will officially go through once the winter window opens.

It is a real coup for Leipzig, with many teams from across Europe having been chasing the 22-year-old, including the Gunners.

He will now work with one of the game’s best up-and-coming managers in Julian Nagelsmann, and potentially take his game to the next level in an exciting team that loves to play attacking, free-flowing football.

Leipzig’s gain could very well be Arsenal’s loss, with Mikel Arteta’s side having been struggling to create chances and score goals in 2020/21.

Szoboszlai was seen as a possible option for the north Londoners as a cheaper alternative to Houssem Aouar.

Many Arsenal fans have been clamouring for their club to make a move on Szoboszlai, but they will now have to look elsewhere.
