Arsenal could sell Dinos Mavropanos in the summer, with Forbes claiming that the defender has a £3.4 million exit clause.

That doesn’t represent great business for Arsenal, especially since Mavropanos is bang in form at Stuttgart.

Today, it was announced the man on loan from Arsenal has been named in the Who Scored Team of the Month for October.

The eleven was made up using data and featuring players made up from clubs in Europe’s top five divisions.

Amid a plethora of quality players, Mavropanos has turned the heads of some supporters.

The young Greek defender is thriving under regular first-team football. So far this term he has made 11 appearances, scoring four goals and claiming one assist.

At 23, the centre-back has time on his side and some Arsenal fans would rather see the player head back to the Emirates in the summer.

Of course, that is still a possibility although the ball is very much in Stuttgart’s court.

Mavropanos has been capped by Greece seven times and perhaps Arsenal fans believe he can offer something that the club’s other defenders don’t.

The £25,000-a-week player is flying right now and he’s clearly enjoying his football.
