Arsenal fans react as Darren Bent urges Gunners to re-sign player, available right now
Darren Bent has urged Arsenal to complete a full u-turn and re-sign playmaker Jack Wilshere on a free transfer following the midfielder’s release from West Ham – and Gunners supporters have responded to his Tweet.
Arsenal struggled against Leeds United on Sunday afternoon at Elland Road, failing to dominate possession and were completely overshadowed by Marcelo Bielsa’s men. The Gunners only really had one chance, but Bukayo Saka fluffed his lines.
The Gunners were lacking creativity, with Mesut Ozil axed from the 25-man squad. Joe Willock was given a chance to start in the Premier League, but the English ace failed to have any kind of impact. Kalvin Phillips came out on top.
Bent – who played for Tottenham but is renowned for being an Arsenal supporter – reacted to the 0-0 draw by urging Arsenal to consider a move to bring Wilshere back to the Emirates. He left the Gunners in the summer of 2019.
Arsenal seriously lacking creativity, bring him home @JackWilshere

Wilshere left Arsenal after clocking up just two appearances shy of 200 senior outings. He became a fan favourite at The Emirates, even holding aloft two FA Cup trophies – and a Community Shield.
Arsenal supporters responded to Bent’s Tweet, with many stunned at his suggestion – given Wilshere has already left the club and his past of injury problems. However, some would take him back at Arsenal – with one suggesting a “pay as you play”.
Im more than happy to have him return

We all love Jack but he isn’t the answer Darren.

Wilshere is vastly overrated and a injury prone player. Better options elsewhere IMO 🤷🏿♂️

Pay if you play basic 🙌🏼
