Dani Ceballos has been a crucial part of Arsenal’s return to form since the break and Mikel Arteta is seemingly keen to keep him at the Emirates – and Gunners fans have reacted to the latest reports regarding his price tag.

Ceballos, 23, endured a difficult start to life after joining Arsenal on a season-long loan from Real Madrid. Under Unai Emery, Ceballos struggled to find his best form – with the Spanish boss sacked in before the halfway point.

Injury prevented him from making an impact under Mikel Arteta and he has been forced to wait his chance. But since the break, Ceballos has been in inspired form and it is clear that the Gunners want to keep him permanently.

Now, Spanish newspaper Marca has delivered some good news as Arsenal look to keep the Spain international. They state that Real Madrid are willing to cash in on Ceballos for a bargain fee of just £22.5million.

That is if Zinedine Zidane remains in the managerial hotseat, something which looks likely. A bargain fee that is easily attainable for Arsenal – but Valencia and Real Betis are also keen on Ceballos, who has scored twice this term.

Gunners fans responded to the news that Ceballos can be signed permanently for a fee of just £22.5million, and many have urged their club to get a deal done before other sides swoop in and steal Ceballos from their grasp.
