Back in 2016, up-and-coming Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso spoke of how he was dreaming of a move to Arsenal. Four years on, and he has been reportedly told he can leave Bayern Munich – and Gunners supporters have reacted on Twitter.
German newspaper Bild have claimed that the Bundesliga champions will be undergoing a transfer overhaul this summer. Indeed, the report claims 25-year-old Tolisso has been told he can leave, as well as Jerome Boateng and Javi Martinez.
It comes after just three years with Bayern. France international Tolisso has been somewhat unfortunate since his move to Germany, which saw him put pen to paper on a £38million (Guardian) move from Lyon to Bayern.

Tolisso starred in his first season at Bayern, netting 10 goals and creating seven more in 40 league and cup outings. But just four games into his second campaign at Bayern, he suffered an ACL injury – limiting him to just four appearances.
This season, Tolisso has been afforded 24 appearances but is yet to mirror the form he showed prior to the knee injury. He has scored three goals for Bayern this season, and laid on five assists despite a change in managers.
Tolisso, who was quoted by Sky Sports in 2016 as saying: “Many clubs make me dream like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and England with teams like Arsenal,” is now available for a summer transfer, and Arsenal supporters have reacted on Twitter.
