Arsenal sporting director Edu is reportedly stepping up interest in pursuit of Norwich City playmaker Emi Buendia this summer as doubts over Martin Odegaard’s future emerges – and Gunners fans have reacted on Twitter to the latest reports.
Buendia, 24, has been in stunning form for Norwich City during promotion to the Premier League. The Argentine has been crucial in helping the Canaries return to the top flight at the first attempt – having a hand in 32 goals during his 37 games.
Scoring 15 times from midfield, Buendia has managed even more assists with 17 to his name. During his 2019-20 campaign in the Premier League, Buendia only managed one goal but he laid on a huge seven assists in the top flight for Norwich.
Goal claim that Edu is to intensify interest in Buendia, with the player said to be keen on a move to The Emirates this summer. However, it is claimed Norwich will want £40million for him – with plenty of other Premier League clubs being linked.
Foot Mercato say Leeds, West Ham, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are all keen. But Arsenal fans are excited by the latest reports, urging their club to complete a deal to sign the South American talent. One fan thinks he’s better than Grealish.
