Arsenal are reportedly in ‘very advanced talks’ with Yacine Brahimi.
According to La Gazzette Du Fennec, the Gunners are ready to sanction a move for the 29-year-old, who is a free agent after running down his contract at FC Porto.

The winger is to move on after five years having made 215 appearances for the club in all competitions.
Brahimi is currently on duty at the Africa Cup of Nations, meaning a deal is unlikely to happen whilst he is still in Egypt.
Apparently he has offers from Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas, but the player would prefer a switch to the Premier League ‘for both sporting and financial reasons’.

It has been widely reported that Arsenal do not have a big transfer budget this summer, meaning free transfers could be likely at the Emirates.
Arsenal fans react
Many Arsenal fans understand that the club are restricted this summer in terms of spending, but it hasn’t stopped them from criticising the links to Brahimi.
Many feel as though, although free, the versatile winger is past his best years at the age of 29.
