Arsenal will miss out on Belgian international winger Yannick Carrasco this summer, according to a report by the Sun.
They report that the Gunners’ tight transfer budget has hamstrung their attempts to bring the 25-year-old back to European football from the Chinese Super League.
He is expected to come back to Europe but it won’t be to the Emirates Stadium, meaning that Unai Emery will once again miss out on the player he also wanted in January.
The report says that Dalian Yifang have demanded £30 million for Carrasco, which has priced Arsenal out of a swoop as they prepare for another season outside the Champions League.
Many Arsenal fans took to Twitter to voice their displeasure at seeing a top transfer target get away, because the club can’t or won’t pay the money to get Carrasco through the door.
They think they’ve seen this one before and are not happy at all about the report – and we’ve put together some of the angry reaction…
Typical Arsenal linked with all these players end up getting 3 unknown playershttps://t.co/ae4qH2zGza

Again why move to the emirates? Why are charged the most expensive prices for games and we buy mediocre players? The point of moving was we would be able to compete with sides like Bayern and buy world class players #lies #solddowntheriver
