Arsenal have reportedly joined the race to sign Norwich City right-back Max Aarons but face plenty of competition in the form of Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and West Ham United – and Gunners fans have reacted on Twitter.
The Mail have claimed that Mikel Arteta is eyeing the 19-year-old due to concerns regarding long-standing right-sided defender Hector Bellerin. It is believed that The Gunners do not think he will reach the standard he was capable of before his knee injury.
Arsenal do have other options on the right side of the defence, with Ainsley Maitland-Niles currently playing there. But Arteta is keen to bring in another option, and England Under-21 international Aarons has cropped up as an option.

The Mail claim Arsenal are not alone in their pursuit of Aarons, though. Tottenham have long been linked with a move for Aarons for quite some time, ever since he broken into the side at Norwich during their promotion from the Championship.
Meanwhile, West Ham desperately need a new right-back with criticism being placed on both Ryan Fredericks and Pablo Zabaleta. At Everton, Seamus Coleman is far from the standard he used to be – whole Djibril Sidibe is only on loan.
Arsenal fans have reacted to the reported news that their club are battling Tottenham, Everton and West Ham for Norwich star Aarons – with the report claiming £30million will be enough for interested parties to land the London-born defender.
