Arsenal are reportedly rivalling Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Chelsea in pursuit of Amiens striker Serhou Guirassy this summer – and Gunners fans have responded to the reports.
Guirassy, 24, has been relegated with Amiens this season after the French government put a halt to football. Amiens were 19th when Emmanuel Macron made the announcement, and that has seen Guirassy suffer the drop to Ligue 2.
But for Guirassy on a personal level, that is likely to be shortlived. Indeed, the striker impressed in his 23 Ligue 1 appearances this season – using his frame and physicality to score nine top-tier goals, more than a quarter of Amiens’ 31 goals this season.

French outlet Le10Sport claimed earlier this month that Chelsea, West Ham and Tottenham were all interested in the big number nine rated at £17.5million – and now the Daily Mail have claimed Arsenal have jumped in the race.
The Gunners have plenty of options up front in the form of Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Martinelli, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette – but the latter duo’s future at the Emirates is in doubt for differing reasons.
They may need replacing and it is apparent that Arsenal may look to sign Guirassy in the coming months, but many Gunners fans are worried Guirassy is not good enough for the north London club.
