Arsenal have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race to sign Olympiakos defender Ousseynou Ba after the Senegal centre-back starred at the Emirates earlier this season – and Gunners supporters have reacted on Twitter.
Ba, 24, only joined Olympiakos last summer from French side Ajaccio, and struggled to get a game with the Greek champions following his move – managing just two senior outings until December. But after breaking into the side, he has remained since.
Greek outlet Sportime have claimed his performances – though only 18 for Olympiakos in total – have not gone unnoticed. Indeed, his performances against Arsenal in which he kept Alexandre Lacazette quiet, have caught admirers.
Arsenal are indeed interested themselves after Ba helped knock Arsenal out of the Europa League round of 32. But the Gunners are not the only English side that want to sign Dakar-born Ba, with Liverpool also linked.

Senegalese paper Le Quotidien believes that Liverpool have an interest in Ba and that he would cost around £18m. The Reds are said to be interested in signing Ba because Sadio Mane has suggested him as an option.
The Gunners are likely to be after a central defender with Shkodran Mustafi, David Luiz and Sokratis have all struggled this season. Rob Holding and Calum Chambers have struggled with injury, while Pablo Mari is still only on loan.
Arsenal supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that Ba is a target for the Gunners, and many believe he would be a good signing for the north London club.
