Arsenal are reportedly interested in raiding Paris Saint-Germain for midfielder Julian Draxler this summer with the German set to enter the final 12 months of his contract – and Gunners fans have reacted on Twitter to reports.
Draxler, 26, has fallen down the pecking order at French league leaders PSG – starting just 12 of his 19 league and cup appearances. A long-term foot injury also prevented the playmaker from featuring as much as he would have liked.
This summer, the Germany international is likely to be made available by the French champions given his current contract situation. As per Foot Mercato, that has placed Arsenal on red alert, but the Gunners face competition.

Arsenal have long been linked with a move for the ex-Wolfsburg star, with Arsene Wenger a keen admirer of the player. Hertha Berlin are said to have made an offer for Draxler, while another unnamed Premier League side are also keen.
The report claims Draxler is earning £120,000 a week at PSG, while the French club spent £36.5million to sign him. Amid the global health crisis and Arsenal players reportedly taking a pay cut – an expensive transfer such as this seems unlikely.
But if Arsenal can arrange a cut-price figure for Draxler, given his current contract status, a move could be given the green light. Arsenal fans reacted on Twitter to the news they are after Draxler in the coming months.
