Arsenal are reportedly one of five Premier League clubs scouting Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick ahead of the January window. Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter to the reports, urging their club to sign the forward.

Schick, 25, has been in sparkling form for Leverkusen this season – after a tricky initial campaign with the Bundesliga outfit. Clocking up 14 league appearances, Schick has clocked up a whopping 16 goals.

It comes after only 13 goals in 36 games for Leverkusen last season, having joined the club from Roma in 2020. This season, he is above Erling Haaland in the Bundesliga goalscoring rankings – behind only Robert Lewandowski.

Little surprise then, that Schick is attracting Premier League interest. 90Min say Ralf Rangnick is a big fan, while Arsenal, Tottenham, Everton, West Ham and Manchester City have all sent out scouts to sign the Czech Republic ace.

What are Arsenal fans saying about signing Schick from Leverkusen?

Well, Arsenal could be in need of a striker very soon. Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are both out of contract at the end of the season. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could also go, having been stripped of the Arsenal captaincy.

Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to discuss reports that their club are keen on a move to sign Schick. Whether Schick would consider a move to the Emirates remains to be seen, with Leverkusen requesting £50million.
