Arsenal fans are jubilant on social media, with Kieran Tierney back in full training ahead of Monday’s crunch Premier League clash with Liverpool.
The Scotland international has been contending with a slight groin issue, which he sustained during the warm-up against West Ham United last weekend.
Tierney was replaced at the eleventh hour by Sead Kolasinac at left centre-back, and he played no part against Leicester City in the EFL Cup.

But on Sunday the club issued an injury update on several first-teamers, which provided information to say that Tierney is back in full training.
That is a huge boost for the Gunners, with Premier League champions Liverpool the opponents on Monday.
Tierney is now firmly established as a starter at the Emirates Stadium, slotting in seamlessly on the left of a back three under Mikel Arteta.
The £80,000-a-week star (Spotrac) has showcased brilliant maturity and quality during his time at the club, and his contributions could be key against the Reds.

Arsenal face a huge task trying to contain the likes of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, but the job should be easier with Tierney in the starting XI.
Some fans were delighted to learn he is in contention to play:
