Arsenal fans react as club linked with signing Zenit St. Petersburg Sardar Azmoun
Arsenal have reportedly been offered Zenit St. Petersburg striker Sardar Azmoun by the Iranian striker’s agent ahead of the summer window – and Gunners supporters have reacted on Twitter to the potential new signing.
Italian website Area Napoli have claimed that 25-year-old striker Azmoun has been proposed to Arsenal by the player’s representatives, but Everton have also been offered the striker. The player himself fancies a move to Serie A side Napoli.
Meanwhile, Premier League clubs West Ham United and Leicester City are also interested in landing Azmoun – who made a name for himself thanks to his efforts at the 2018 World Cup. He joined Zenit just a matter of months after the World Cup.

Since signing for the Russian giants, Azmoun has scored an impressive 26 goals in 45 league and cup appearances – but the powerful forward has shown he is not just a goal machine, as he has laid on 10 assists in that time too.
The report claims that interested parties would have to spend a fee in the region of £30million to sign Azmoun, who has a contract at the Russian side until the summer of 2022. He has previously played for Russian duo FK Rostov and Rubin Kazan.
Arsenal supporters have reacted to the reported news that their club have been offered Azmoun ahead of the summer window, but many want Arsenal to avoid the striker. Back in 2015, Azmoun told the TNA that: “My main goal is to play in Premier League.”
Looks good tbh.
