Arsenal fans react as club linked with Sevilla teenager Antonio Zarzana

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Sevilla wonderkid Antonio Zarzana as the Spain youth international continues to shine for the La Liga outfit’s youth team – and Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter.

Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo claim Arsenal want the 17-year-old midfielder, who has already broken into Sevilla’s second string and made his debut for the Under-23 side in May. He also impressed in the Algarve Tournament.

It is believed Zarzana’s performances have caught they eye, not only at Arsenal. Indeed, Bayern Munich and Liverpool have taken a look at the three-time Spain Under-18 international – while he rejected a move to Real Madrid.

Zarzana decided to ignore Real Madrid’s offer as he is desperate to break into Sevilla’s first team, a club he has supported ever since joining the La Liga side. It is unclear how much Zarzana will cost interested parties.

Arsenal could do with a central midfielder. Dani Ceballos is injured and only on loan, while Granit Xhaka could still leave the club after this season’s saga. Matteo Guendouzi is not showing the form he did last term.

Lucas Torreira is being linked with a move to Gennaro Gattuso’s Napoli and Arsenal fans have reacted to the reported news that their club are interested in landing the Spanish youngster.
