Arsenal have reportedly made an approach to sign AC Milan star Franck Kessie ‘in recent days’ with the Gunners likely to be after a central midfielder in the summer – and Gunners supporters have reacted on Twitter to the news.
Italian outlet CalcioMercato have claimed that Arsenal are interested in 23-year-old Kessie, and have enquired over a move to sign the 39-time Ivory Coast international – but have been given a very firm no by Milan, who are keen to keep him.
Despite still being at the early stages of his professional career, Kessie is already very experienced having played almost 200 club games – 120 of which for Milan – and is closing in on a half century of caps for his country.

The latest report claims that Arsenal have enquired to land the former Atalanta star, with Arteta seemingly keen to sign a central midfielder. The club have also been linked with Olympiacos midfielder Mady Camara, and Pape Gueye.
Another report from CalcioMercato claims Milan will let Kessie go for £26million, despite the player being a regular in Stefano Pioli’s side of late. It remains to be seen if Kessie wants to leave Milan, and whether the Premier League suits his needs.
Arsenal fans have reacted to the reported news that their club are interested in signing Kessie at the end of the season, and many Gunners supporters are not excited at the prospect of him moving to north London.
