Arsenal fans react as club linked to Salzburg ace Patson Daka

Salzburg striker Patson Daka is on Arsenal’s radar ahead of future transfer windows, according to Football London.

The goal machine is one of the hottest properties in European football after some impressive performances in Austria.

During his last 52 games, he has fired 38 goals and registered 16 assists.

Daka is in such prolific form that Arsenal might have to move quickly if they want to secure the signing.

The 21-year-old has won 18 caps for Zambia and comes alive in the penalty box.

Daka is quick, knows where the back of the net is and is capable of playing as a lone striker or as part of a two-pronged attack.

Arsenal have Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah all competing for a place in Mikel Arteta’s team.

With two of the three typically playing at once, there is an element which suggests Arsenal would welcome the chance to add another striker.

Salzburg are thought to demand in excess of £20 million for his signature, although his current lethal form could see them increase the valuation.
