Arsenal fans have been giving their reactions to reports the club are chasing Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare.
According to Sky Sports, the Gunners are rivalling the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Valencia for the France U21 international.

Soumare has been in fine fettle this term, standing out in both Ligue 1 and the Champions League.
Supposedly, Lille are ‘likely’ to sell Soumare this month, although the club would like him to play against Paris Saint-Germain on January 26.
The 20-year-old – valued at around £43 million (Daily Star) – has previously drawn comparisons with Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba for his box-to-box style.
The star has made 62 appearances for Lille since joining the club in the summer of 2017.

The new report from Sky would suggest that he might not be adding too many more to that tally.
Arsenal, of course, have done transfer business with Lille before having snapped up Nicolas Pepe in the summer of 2019, and may be hoping for another successful raid.
Arsenal fans react
On the whole, it would appear Arsenal fans are very keen to see Soumare pitch up at the Emirates, with many feeling he would add something new to the team’s midfield.
