Arsenal have been linked with a move for Brentford forward Said Benrahma, according to The Telegraph.

The 24-year-old has been in solid form for the Bees this season, with Thomas Frank’s team sitting fifth in the Championship.

He has also been linked with both Newcastle and Leicester City (The Sun).

The Algerian arrived at Griffin Park in 2018 costing the club £1.5 million from Nice (The Sun).

In total he has played 71 games for the Bees; bagging 19 goals and claiming 23 assists.

He is improving all the time and Premier League suitors are inevitably emerging.

It would appear that the only chance the Bees have of keeping their prized asset is by winning promotion; although even then they may be powerless.

Arsenal have drawn 13 of their 25 Premier League fixtures this season.

The Gunners are currently tenth in the top-flight and face the prospect of missing out on Europe.

It is thought that it could take up to £15 million to sign the man with three caps for Algeria.

Following news of Arsenal’s interest in Benrahma, supporters have taken to Twitter.

The vast majority seem to think the forward would represent a solid signing for the club.
