Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Roma winger Cengiz Under this summer and could produce a player-plus-cash deal to land the Turkish wonderkid – a deal which Gunners fans think makes complete sense.
Italian outlet Leggo have claimed that Roma are keen to keep Arsenal loanee Mkhitaryan, 31, who has impressed while on loan with the Serie A side – scoring six goals and laying on four assists in 17 league and cup appearances.
However, Roma do not want to spend much this summer given their financial difficulty even before the global health crisis struck. Arsenal value Mkhitaryan in the region of £17.5million, as per the report.

But with Roma and Paulo Fonseca openly keen to keep the former Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund star at the Stadio Olimpico, the Italian side are willing to get creative – and take advantage of Arsenal’s interest in 22-year-old Under.
A 20-time Turkey international, Under has had a hand in 29 goals in his 85 league and cup appearances for Roma since his move from Istanbul Basaksehir. But Roma have offered Arsenal the chance to sign him in a player-plus-cash deal.
Roma have proposed that they would be willing to sell Under for Mkhitaryan and a fee of £8.7million. Arsenal supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that Under could be on his way to the Emirates, with Mkhitaryan leaving permanently.
