Mikel Arteta has promoted Catalin Cirjan into his Arsenal first-team and the Gunners supporters are hopeful that a first-team bow isn’t too far away.
The player appeared to confirm on Twitter that he is now taking part in sessions with the senior ranks – whilst his agent also suggested as much.
Cirjan has scored two goals for the Gunners at under-23 level this season and looks set for a bright future.
He was signed by Arsenal in the summer of 2019 from Romanian outfit Viitorul Domnesti.
At 18 he might be a little way off his debut just yet but that hasn’t stopped supporters believing he deserves a chance.

Arsenal are languishing in 15th place in the Premier League and were dumped out of the League Cup in embarrassing fashion on Tuesday.
The Gunners were thumped 4-1 by Manchester City and Arteta could do a lot worse than utilise the club’s younger players.
Catalin typically plays in central midfield, although he can operate on either flank too.
The news regarding his promotion seems to have gone down well and some would actually welcome a first-team berth right now.
Here is what Arsenal supporters were saying after Catalin appeared to confirm promotion.
