Arsenal fans react as Bukayo Saka is nominated for PFA Young Player of the Season
Bukayo Saka is one of six nominees for the PFA Young Player of the Season award.
The 19-year-old winger was one of Arsenal’s top performing players last season. Coincidentally, Saka played the most minutes out of any outfield player for the Gunners.
Although Mikel Arteta’s side failed to qualify for Europe, Saka’s development as a top Premier League player was a noticeable highlight for Arsenal fans.
Saka scored seven goals and assisted ten all competitions. Indeed, the teenager’s form won the attacker a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for Euro 2020.
And the winger’s success last season has been recognised with the PFA naming Saka as one of the six players nominated for Young Player of the Season.
Furthermore, Arsenal supporters were buzzing for the teenager to make it on to the list. And some fans on social media believe Saka has a shot of winning the award.
Here’s what some supporters had to say on Twitter about Saka’s nomination…
