Bukayo Saka has been named on the shortlist for the 2020 FIFA Golden Boy award – and Arsenal supporters have used the nomination as a chance to rave about the talented youngster.

The 19-year-old has been named alongside 19 other talented youngsters and winning the accolade would cap a remarkable year for the academy graduate.

Saka made his debut for England in a friendly against Wales last week as the Three Lions ran out 3-0 winners at Wembley Stadium.

During the 2019/20 campaign, he found himself thrust into first-team action under Mikel Arteta, following his arrival as Unai Emery’s successor in November.

Last season he scored four times and registered 11 assists from 39 appearances in the Arsenal team.

This season he hasn’t found his feet just yet but it’s fair to say he looks like becoming a quality player in years to come at the Emirates Stadium.

Saka can play in a number of positions and has operated as a winger and as a left-wing back under Arteta.

Supporters have been mesmerised by Saka at times and they are massively keen for him to win the FIFA Golden Boy award.

It may seem a long shot for Saka to win it but nonetheless, Arsenal fans have been raving about their new kid on the block over on Twitter.

Here is a selection of Tweets from the Gunners faithful.
