Arsenal fans are in jubilation after it was announced this week that Brighton and Hove Albion attacker Neal Maupay will miss the final Premier League game of the season with the Seagulls travelling up to north London.
The FA confirmed in a statement on Twiter that the former Brentford striker will miss the last two fixtures of the league campaign after being found guilty of abusive, insulting and improper language towards a match official, with Maupay also being handed a £25,000 fine for his actions in Brighton’s 2-1 loss against Wolves earlier in the month.

Maupay is a player who is currently in the bad books for Arsenal fans following a fixture last year when the French attacker was involved with a foul on goalkeeper Bernd Leno which resulted in the German keeper missing the remainder of last season through a knee injury, as well as scoring a late winner against the Gunners in the same fixture.
And this news was celebrated on social media, with Arsenal fans happy that Leno won’t be able to take his revenge on the 24-year-old forward for what happened last season. Here’s what some supporters had to say on Twitter about the update…
