A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from NTV Spor claiming Besiktas have now made an official bid for Mohamed Elneny.
The Gunners need to make a decision on Elneny’s future in the near future. His contract at the Emirates expires next summer.

He has been involved in Mikel Arteta’s plans since returning from a loan spell with the Turkish side. However, the 29-year-old is arguably well down the pecking order right now.
And it does appear that he is one of the players that needs replacing if Arsenal are going to get themselves back up the Premier League table.

It certainly appears that Besiktas have sensed an opportunity. According to NTV Spor, they have made an offer for the Egyptian.
It even appears that a deal could happen imminently as NTV Spor note that he could be added to their UEFA squad list if signed today.

Most feel that it is time to let the midfielder leave.
Others however, have suggested that selling him now would make little sense. Obviously, the transfer window in England is now shut.
