Arsenal hitman Alexandre Lacazette has once again been left out of the French squad for the upcoming international break.
Lacazette was on standby for the 2018 World Cup – which France of course won – but hasn’t played for his country since 2017.
He is one of the best strikers in the Premier League so many Arsenal fans cannot understand why Didier Deschamps continues to exclude him.
The likes of former Gunner Olivier Giroud get in ahead of Lacazette and while it’s better from an Arsenal perspective that he isn’t in the squad – there’s less chance of him picking up injury and fatigue – many fans can’t understand why he isn’t in.

Some think that Deschamps has something personal against the Arsenal hitman to continue to exclude him from his plans, and were not best impressed.
That said, France have such an embarrassment of riches that they climbed the highest peak in world football without him and it’s perhaps understandable that Deschamps largely wants to use those same players now.
