Arsenal fans react as Adrien Rabiot linked with move from Juventus to north London

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot in the January transfer window on loan until the end of the 2019-20 campaign – and many Arsenal fans have urged their club to do whatever it takes to land the Frenchman.

French outlet Foot Mercato have claimed that Arsenal are considering a move for the 24-year-old midfielder which would see him join The Gunners on loan. It is unclear if any loan deal would have a permanent clause come the summer.

Rabiot joined Juventus only in the summer on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, after his contract expired with the French champions. But under Maurizio Sarri, he has struggled for game time.

Indeed, the France international has been afforded just 12 appearances in all competitions for Sarri’s side – and five of those has come from the bench. The competition of Emre Can, Miralem Pjanic, Blaise Matuidi and Aaron Ramsey is proving too much.

The Gunners, meanwhile, oucld do with another central midfielder. Lucas Torreira is being heavily linked with Napoli, while Granit Xhaka is close to returning to Germany as reports claim Tottenham legend Jurgen Klinsmann wants him at Hertha.

Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that their club could look to sign Rabiot in January, which could see him become Mikel Arteta’s first signing as Gunners manager. The majority believe he would be “perfect”.
