William Saliba is reportedly growing tired of his situation at Arsenal as the French teenager is yet to make his senior Gunners debut since joining the club in the summer of 2019 – and Gunners supporters have reacted on Twitter.
Saliba, 19, joined Arsenal over a year ago from Ligue 1 side St. Etienne but the France Under-20 international returned to Les Verts on loan last season. He has clocked up 36 senior appearances for the French club, and has since returned to Arsenal.
Of the Gunners’ 12 league and cup matches, Saliba has only made the bench twice – failing to make a single outing. He has instead played twice in Premier League 2 for Arsenal, captaining the Gunners in a 2-2 draw against Brighton.

Now, French website ButFootballClub has claimed Saliba has become ‘tired’ of his situation at Arsenal. The teenager rejected a loan move to Championship clubs last month, but it is now believed Saliba will welcome a return to St. Etienne.
The likes of Shkodran Mustafi, David Luiz, Rob Holding, Gabriel and Sean Kolasinac are all ahead of Saliba in the pecking order – and Calum Chambers is likely to be considered higher in the rankings when the ex-Southampton man returns.
Arsenal supporters have responded on Twitter to the reported news that £40k-a-week (Spotrac) Saliba is getting frustrated at Arsenal and is considering a loan exit in the coming months – and many have criticised manager Mikel Arteta.
