Arsenal fans have taken to social media to praise 14-year-old Hale End academy product Ethan Nwaneri after the teenager became one of the club’s youngest ever goalscorers at youth level.

The teenager scored the fifth goal for the Gunners last night in their 6-1 win against West Ham United in the U-18 Premier League, becoming one of the youngest players to score at that level for the club as reported by Arsenal youth reporter Jeorge Bird, who also claims that the attacker is ‘highly-regarded’ in the academy.

Arsenal’s production line of youth talent is one of the best in the country, with Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe current first-teamers with the Gunners under Mikel Arteta, and supporters on social media believe that Nwaneri could be the next in line to graduate from Hale End.

Arteta is eager to incorporate youth players into the first-team, with Folarin Balogun recently signing a new long-term deal with the club, with the England youth international likely to be part of Arsenal’s first-team plans next season.
