What are Arsenal fans saying about Lokonga’s performance?
During his 64 minutes, though, he was impressive. In a 4-2-3-1 system, he was alongside Mo Elneny in the middle of the park – dictating the play. Arsenal took the lead through Eddie Nketiah, who cut inside from the left wing before curling into the far corner. Philip Zinckernagel equalised.
After the half-time whistle, Alexandre Lacazette scored a penalty before Emile Smith-Rowe’s cross was smashed in by Kieran Tierney. The best came last, though, as Azeez curled a beauty into the net from a short corner. Arsenal fans raved about new signing Lokonga on Twitter after the win.
One fan spoke about just how much “courage” the £18million (Goal) signing was showing.
