Arsenal fans rave about Folarin Balogun after under-23 goal

Arsenal secured a point during their under-23 fixture with Everton yesterday afternoon, with Folarin Balogun equalising with nine minutes left to play.

The Gunners trailed at half-time after Nathan Broadhead fired the Toffees into a deserved lead.

Much like the first-team, however, Arsenal looked like a different side after the break and were rewarded for their efforts.

Balogun scoring is no surprise and supporters are growing disgruntled that he hasn’t had more of a chance in the senior team.

The 19-year-old is out of contract during the summer and Arsenal face the genuine prospect of losing him.

Balogun has now found the net on eight occasions for the under-23s this season and it’ll be interesting to see if he can force his way into the senior reckoning.

It does look increasingly likely as though he will leave though and Arsenal fans aren’t happy about that.
