Arsenal fans rave about Dominik Szoboszlai after stunning Champions League strike

Dominik Szoboszlai continued to prove his credentials on the Champions League scene with a stunning goal for RB Salzburg on Wednesday night against Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow – and Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter.

Still only 19 years of age, Hungary international Szoboszlai is considered one of the most exciting talents in European football. Salzburg are renowned for producing talent, including Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Takumi Minamino.

Erling Haaland has been on fire for Dortmund and now Szoboszlai could be the next example to move to Europe’s bigger leagues. He has already clocked up 69 senior appearances for Salzburg, having a hand in 51 goals.

He scored his fourth of the 2020-21 campaign on Wednesday as Salzburg earned a point against Lokomotiv Moscow – cancelling out Eder’s opener. Picking the ball up 20 yards out, he curled the ball into the top corner.

Football London claimed last month that Arsenal are still interested in signing Szoboszlai with Edu targeting the teenage playmaker. The Gunners have been compiling scout reports on the attacker for some time.

The report claims Szoboszlai has a release clause worth £22.5million in his contract, and Arsenal fans have urged their club to sign the versatile attacker following his latest goal for Salzburg in Wednesday’s outing.
