Freddie Ljungberg got his first win as Arsenal manager last night when he saw his side come from behind to beat West Ham, another of his old clubs.
The first half made abject viewing but the Swede was able to turn the match around as the Gunners clinched a much-needed win at the home of their London rivals.
Ljungberg gave Gabriel Martinelli a rare start on the left hand side of midfield and it was the £6 million (Telegraph) Brazilian who got the comeback started by cancelling out Angelo Ogbonna’s opening goal.
The more expensive talents of Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sealed the victory and Arsenal finally found a winning formula for the first time in ten matches.

The Arsenal fans seem to love him and many of them on Twitter after the match showed their appreciation for a player quietly enjoying an impressive first season in English football.
He is a constant goal threat, capable of playing across the frontline and takes his chances when they come his way.
One of Ljungberg’s great strengths is his relationship with the club’s younger players and Martinelli is proving one of the trail blazers in terms of adding youthfulness and energy to a first team which sorely needs it.
