England’s Under-21s side recorded a draw away to Andorra on Wednesday afternoon – and some Arsenal fans on Twitter were impressed with their attacker Eddie Nketiah for his cameo performance.
Aidy Boothroyd’s side slumped to a poor 3-3 result against minnows Andorra in a European Under-21 Championship qualifying fixture.
The hosts scored a late equaliser to earn a famous point for them, while England’s goalscorers were Everton’s Tom Davies, Brentford’s Josh DaSilva and Nketiah.
Nketiah, who scored a composed finish over the goalkeeper to put his side 3-2 ahead at the time, was given a late role off the bench.
The Gunners centre-forward scored his 13th goal for the Under-21s side, which draws him level with Alan Shearer and Francis Jeffers for the most goals at that age group for England.
He was introduced to the action in the 72nd minute and will surely be pushing for a start next Tuesday in a match at home to Turkey.

A selection of Arsenal supporters on social media were left praising Nketiah for his record-equalling goal and one suggested he could be knocking on the door for a senior call-up to Gareth Southgate’s main England group.
The 21-year-old striker is a part of Mikel Arteta’s first-team group at the Emirates Stadium and is renowned for being a composed finisher around the box, but he still needs to work on other areas of his game to become a top player.
He has nine goals in 43 senior appearances for Arsenal and is a rising talent.
